SJ and I hit the road for a fun, girly shopping trip to the outlets that ended with the purchase of some very pretty dresses and maybe a few $4 bras. We spent the ride down catching up on tons of stuff (who am I kidding? we talked and talked and talked the entire day!). The topic du jour for some of the trip was husbands, relationships and in-law issues.
SJ's response: "Remember when we used to talk about sex and boys? I liked that better."
Me too, SJ, me too. (And when did we get so grown-up?!?)
So many books...

You can still talk about sex and boys but the older you get now, the more Mrs Robinson-esque you appear!
ugh, molly. you should have heard us at KAT's house on Saturday night -- we were actually discussing insurance plans (HSAs and FSAs) and FMLA!
what has happened to us?!
You are on the road to becoming members of the blue rinse club!! I don't know why it is, but around the 30 mark you suddenly "grow up" and the world is never the same again because unfortunately, you just get older. But with age comes wisdom and even though young girls will mock you if you try to wear "their" fashions, at the end of the day, you know all the hell they are going to have to go through because you have been there and done that and you are now wise (old) women!
