and bring on the censors.

i was going to post an entry on what i did on saturday night, but then i remembered that i had given the url for our blog to my mom.

so nevermind. i prayed, cooked dinner, did some sewing and went to bed by 9:30.

well not really, but let's just say j and i had an adventure that took us to an exit off of 84 near the Brainard airport. if you're from ct, you'll get that reference. if you're not from ct, i'm sorry. i'll have to think of more hints to drop. but anyway - we went to a store and met some very interesting people. well not *met*. more like cautiously and distantly observed.

this story is getting away from me.

anyway - the rest of my weekend was fairly quiet. thank goodness, as my weeks are anything but quiet these days. as to the cupcake front, i did make some killer ones last week with mocha frosting, dipped in oreos. the next batch i'm thinking of going non-chocolate. lemon with coconut frosting. i'm also thinking of doing peanut butter and jelly cupcakes.

any votes?

I thought of a couple of hints you could give, but they're all "rhymes with" hints and somehow, I think your mom would be able to crack that code! (Have you seen "The BOURNE Identity"? Peeps are made by the Just BORN Company. A friend's baby was just BORN. I bet Mollymoo will figure it out!)

Hi SJ's mom! Thanks for reading and, um, I apologize for pretty much everything in the archives. I'm sure it's more than you ever wanted to know about me. And I apologize for future posts, too. I probably will not be looking you in the eye the next time I see you.

And.... I vote for making the peanut butter and jelly cupcakes. Perferably right before you visit us. With a cupcake storage container. Am I making this clear enough?

If the store off 84 is as "amazing" as the one in bristol, then I know what you're talking about! LOL And I know you said you were stepping away from chocolate cupcakes, but my mom gave me the recipe for her peanut butter cup cheesecake cupcakes - they are heavenly!
